Scratch 3-Day Integrated Lesson

Scratch - Crayon Colouring Activity

I used a Scratch creation that I created for my lesson plan. This Scratch activity is an interactive colouring sheet where you can individually select each colour crayon using "Left Click" and draw as your heart desires. To place the crayon back after colouring hit the "Space" key on your keyboard, then proceed to choose your next colour. Using the "Slider" you can change the colour size. The "Erase All" button will remove any active work on the page. To "Erase" individual lines you can use the white crayon. Clicking "New Page" will cycle through the 4 different available page selections.

Please try it out and let me know what you think!

For my lesson plan, I incorporated information and communication technology and visual arts.  In this lesson, students learn to use technology responsibly while following classroom procedures. Students also learn to understand the basics of creating lines in art following with technology support.

In the future, I can utilize this lesson plan for a future Kindergarten class. Due to the fact that this lesson is already designed and includes proper integration, it would be very helpful to use. Not only can I use this lesson for a future Kindergarten class, this lesson can be differentiated to older grades while increasing the assessment level.
